Kaṟpakam (கற்பகம்) noun < kalpaka.

1. A tree in Svarga supposed to yield whatever one wishes to have, one of pañca-taru, q.v.; பஞ்சதந்திரப் பாடற் தருக்களுள் ஒன்று. கற்பகங் காமவல்லி யனையநீர் [panchathandirap padar tharukkalul onru. karpagang kamavalli yanaiyanir] (சீவகசிந்தாமணி [sivagasindamani] 1129).
