karmavēga (कर्मवेग) [or कर्माचा वेग, karmācā vēga].—m The momentum, impetus, sway, forceful pressure or bearing of Fortune or Fate. Ex. kalāla cā bhōvarā jaisā bhavē garagarāṃ karma- vēgācā ubhārā jōvarīṃ. jēthē karmācā vēga sarē || tēthēṃ dhāṃva purē || Where Fortune or Destiny ceases (to succour or favor), there the dhāṃva (run, march, progress, doing) ceases. 2 The sway, influence, or forceful operation of actions (often done); the force of habit. Ex. ka0 bhalatyākaḍē ōḍhūna nēīla.
