1. Flower-basket; பூங்கூடை. கரண்டிகையுட் சாலும் பலபோது [pungudai. karandigaiyud salum palapothu] (கோயிற் புராணம் வியாக்கிர. [koyir puranam viyakkira.] 15).
2. Name of a special part of the crown; முடி யின் ஓருறுப்பு. கரண்டிகையிற் கோத்த வடம் [mudi yin oruruppu. karandigaiyir kotha vadam] (S.I.I. ii, 87).
