For example, at Kāraṇai Nizāmpaṭṭu there is a Tamil inscription on the maṇḍapa of the first pillar at the Rāmaliṅgasvāmin temple. It stops abruptly after the introduction commencing with Tirumādu puviyennum.
This inscription belongs to king Parakesarivarman Rājendradeva of the Chola dynasty.
