Kaniṣṭhauvallī (कनिष्ठौवल्ली) refers to the “lineage of the youngest”, according to the Ṭīkā (commentary) on the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “Now the Lineage of the Youngest (kaniṣṭhauvallī) will be explained. As (it is said) ‘the past... etc’. ‘The past’ is said to be the knowledge which is cogitation and that is said to be (Unstruck) Sound. It has past thus. [...]”.
