Source: archive.org: Gazetteer of the Bombay PresidencyKandhārapura is the name of an ancient locality.—At Hire-Kummi and Sattingeri in the Parasgaḍ tāluka, Belgaum District, and at Surkoḍ or Surkor in the Rāmdurg Stale, there are spurious copper-plate charters, without dates, which purport to have been issued by this same king, who is called in them the Chakravartin Kanhara and Kṛṣṇa-Kanhara, and is styled Kandhārapura-ādhīśvara; the Surkoḍ or Surkor record also says that he. was regning at Kanharapura.
