kāṇaṇṇūbāṇṇū (काणण्णूबाण्णू).—n (Fanciful.) Something or other; something or somebody nobody knows or cares what or who. A term expressive of insignificance or indefiniteness. Ex. tyā jāgīṃ kāṃhīṃ kā0 bharalēṃ; hyānēṃ kāṃhīṃ kā0 āṇalēṃ; tō kāṃhīṃ kā0 bōlalā. 2 A term much used by females to signify the soft whispering solicitation of a male. v bōla 3 A covert term for illicit amours, crincum crancum.
