Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarykāmbāṭaṇēṃ (कांबाटणें).—v c N. D. (kāmba) To kill (a cow &c.) by inserting into her niraṇa or pudendum a poisoned kāmba or lath. Supposed to be a practice of the Mahar-caste that they may get the cow's flesh to eat.
