Kalpagrāma (कल्पग्राम) refers to a sacred site near Badarikāśrama and is mentioned in the Naiṣadha-carita 6.65. Cf. Varāhapurāṇa 162.67-68. Kalpagrāma is sacred to the Vaiṣṇavas. Iit is stated in Padmapurāṇa (Uttarakhaṇḍa 71.307) that the hymn to Viṣṇu containing his thousand names will, in the Kali Age, be taken to Kalpagrāma by Nārada. The word is found also in Yaśastilaka (chapter 2)—“kalpagrāmamiva paripūritakāmam”; but the commentator takes it in the sense of “heaven”.
