Kaiyadevanighaṇṭu (कैयदेवनिघण्टु) refers to one of the various Nighaṇṭhus, representing a tradition of Ayurvedic literature.—The author of the Kaiyadevanighaṇṭu is Kaiyadeva who is known by the name Pathyāpathyavibodhaka also. It is a 15th century CE work. It contains nine chapters. The chapters namely dhānyavarga, dravyavarga, kṛtānnavarga and māṃsavarga describe the foodstuffs (annadravya). The chapter kṛtānnavarga explains the preparation and properties of different dishes like lapsikā, kulmāṣa, parpaṭā, lāja, and dhānā.
