Fought with māyā as weapon which Kṛṣṇa removed by use of Vijñānāstra. Defeated by Kṛtavarman. Seeing Kumbhāṇḍa unconscious, fled towards the city. Was attacked by Balarāma in besieging Śonitapura, and was defeated.*
