Juṣṭacaṇḍeśvara (जुष्टचण्डेश्वर) is another name for Svacchandabhairava, according to Tantric texts such as the Kubjikāmata-tantra, the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—[...] Svacchandabhairava is not only the goddess’s consort. He is also her Top Knot (śikhā). In this aspect he is Śikhāsvacchanda, who is also called Juṣṭacaṇḍeśvara and Viśveśvarakujeśvara. The choice of this limb is appropriate, not only because it is the highest part of the goddess. The śikhā is not only the topknot, which is one meaning of the word, it is also the flame—śikhā—of Kuṇḍalinī who emerges out of the Cavity of Brahmā, flaming upwards into the transcendental Emptiness of the god. The Topknot is especially associated with the Mantrapīṭha of the south which is the seat of scripture to which Svacchanda belongs.
