Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryjumbāḍa (जुंबाड).—n jumbāḍā m jumbāḍēṃ n jumbaḍā m jumbaḍēṃ n jumbhāḍa n The hair of the śēṇḍī or vēṇī collected and formed into a tuft on the top or back of the head. 2 A bundle or cluster; a number of individuals bound or lying together (as of staves, sticks, canes, reeds, roots, hairs, pearl-strings). Ex. mēru aisē laṅkēcē huḍē || vara caḍhalīṃ śastrāñcīṃ jumbāḍēṃ ||. 3 A bush or tree of luxuriant and dense foliage: also dense bushiness. 4 (esp. jumbāḍa) A troop or body of men. Ex. māṇa- sāñcyā jumbāḍacīṃ jumbāḍēṃ dhāvalī.
