jōjāra (जोजार).—m Family and followers; domestic establishment; esp. as large and considered as cumbersome and embarrassing. 2 A burden in its figurative senses. Ex. hyā kajjayācā jō0 kōṇa vāhīla? hyā huṇḍīcā jō0 majavara kaśālā? karjācā- kuṭumbācā-ghēṇyādēṇyācā-kṛpēcā-upakārācā-jō0. Pr. jyācā bhāra tyālā jō0 Whose load (or business) it is, he feels the burden.
