jivācī-gvāhī-dēṇēṃ (जिवाची-ग्वाही-देणें).—To attest upon one's soul or life, to give one's most solemn assurance. jivācī hulaḍa karaṇēṃ To make a strong and determined effort. jivānta jīva āhē tōparyanta As long as there is life (in me &c.). jivānta jīva yēṇēṃ Revive -lost strength or courage. jivāniśīṃ jāṇēṃ Lose life. jivāparatā That is be- yond one's strength to bear–toil, sick- ness. Dearer than life, beyond one's own soul-loved &c. jivāpalīkaḍē Be- yond life (i. e. dear than, &c.) jivā- vara uṭhaṇēṃ.
