九會 [jiu hui]—Nine Assemblies — [Technical Term (術語 [shu yu])] A ninefold Dharma Assembly (法會 [fa hui]). This refers to the Dharma Assemblies described in the Avatamsaka Sutra (華嚴經 [hua yan jing]), and also includes the Ninefold Mandala (曼陀羅 [man tuo luo]) of the Vajradhatu (金剛界 [jin gang jie]), among others.

酒會 [jiǔ huì] [jiu hui]—
1. A gathering for the purpose of drinking. Han (漢 [han]). Huan Kuan (桓寬 [huan kuan]), "Discourses on Salt and Iron (鹽鐵論 [yan tie lun]): On Extravagance and Insufficiency (散不足 [san bu zu])": "In the past, civilian wine gatherings merely involved playing zithers and beating drums according to local customs, lacking any exquisite music or complex melodic variations."
2. A relatively simple and informal banquet. Guests are often served mixed cocktails and snacks, with no fixed seating arrangements, and guests are free to arrive and depart as they wish. For example: 'opening reception' (開幕 [kai mu]).

酒會:1.以飲酒為目的的聚會。漢.桓寬《鹽鐵論.散不足》:「往者民間酒會,各以黨俗彈箏鼓缶而已,無要妙之音、變羽之轉。」

2. yī zhǒng bǐ jiào jiǎn dān ér bù jū xíng shì de yàn huì. duō yǐ hùn hé de jī wěi jiǔ yǔ diǎn xīn dài kè, bù pái xí cì, kè rén dào chǎng jí tuì chǎng dōu bǐ jiào zì yóu. rú: “kāi mù jiǔ huì” .

咎悔 [jiù huǐ] [jiu hui]—
1. 災禍 [zai huo] (calamity/disaster). From 漢 [han] (Han Dynasty). 班固 [ban gu] (Ban Gu), 〈奕旨 [yi zhi]〉 (Yi Zhi): "Living in seclusion and speaking freely keeps one far from (calamity); conduct like that of 虞仲 [yu zhong] (Yu Zhong) is truly praiseworthy." 三國魏 [san guo wei] (Three Kingdoms Wei). 嵇康 [ji kang] (Ji Kang), 〈幽憤詩 [you fen shi]〉 (You Fen Shi): "Serving the times with respectful silence, (calamity) does not arise."
2. 悔恨自責 [hui hen zi ze] (regret and self-reproach). For example: "The 主管 [zhu guan] (supervisor) felt boundless (regret and self-reproach) over his momentary 疏忽 [shu hu] (oversight) that caused the company a great 損失 [sun shi] (loss)."

咎悔:1.災禍。漢.班固〈奕旨〉:「隱居放言遠咎悔,行象虞仲信可喜。」三國魏.嵇康〈幽憤詩〉:「奉時恭默,咎悔不生。」
2.悔恨自責。如:「主管對自己一時的疏忽,造成公司很大的損失,感到無限咎悔。」

jiù huǐ:1. zāi huò. hàn. bān gù 〈yì zhǐ〉: “yǐn jū fàng yán yuǎn jiù huǐ, xíng xiàng yú zhòng xìn kě xǐ.” sān guó wèi. jī kāng 〈yōu fèn shī〉: “fèng shí gōng mò, jiù huǐ bù shēng.”
2. huǐ hèn zì zé. rú: “zhǔ guǎn duì zì jǐ yī shí de shū hū, zào chéng gōng sī hěn dà de sǔn shī, gǎn dào wú xiàn jiù huǐ.”

jiu hui:1. zai huo. han. ban gu : "yin ju fang yan yuan jiu hui, xing xiang yu zhong xin ke xi." san guo wei. ji kang : "feng shi gong mo, jiu hui bu sheng."
