九股杵 [jiu gu chu]—Nine-pronged vajra — [Name of object] A vajra (金剛杵 [jin gang chu]) whose top and bottom heads are divided into nine sections. The Subtle Mandala Sutra (微妙漫拏羅經 [wei miao man na luo jing]) states: "If it is made with nine prongs again, with fierce flame-like appearances at the top and bottom, this is a wrathful vajra (忿怒金剛杵 [fen nu jin gang chu])."

九股杵—【物名】金剛杵上下之頭九分者。微妙漫拏羅經曰:「若復作九股,上下猛炎相,此是忿怒金剛杵。」

[wù míng] jīn gāng chǔ shàng xià zhī tóu jiǔ fēn zhě. wēi miào màn ná luó jīng yuē: “ruò fù zuò jiǔ gǔ, shàng xià měng yán xiāng, cǐ shì fèn nù jīn gāng chǔ.”

[wu ming] jin gang chu shang xia zhi tou jiu fen zhe. wei miao man na luo jing yue: "ruo fu zuo jiu gu, shang xia meng yan xiang, ci shi fen nu jin gang chu."
