灸法 [jiǔ fǎ] [jiu fa]—
A therapeutic method in Traditional Chinese Medicine (中醫 [zhong yi]). It involves igniting moxa cones (艾炷 [ai zhu]) or moxa sticks (艾卷 [ai juan]) made from mugwort leaves (艾葉 [ai ye]) and other medicinal substances, and using the generated heat (灼熱 [zhuo re]) to stimulate specific points (體表部位 [ti biao bu wei]) on the body surface to achieve therapeutic effects.
灸法:一種中醫的治病方法。點燃由艾葉等藥物製成的艾炷或艾卷,利用灼熱的方式,刺激人體上一定的體表部位,以達到治療目的。
