淨住社 [jing zhu she]—(Jìng Zhù Shè) — [Miscellaneous Term] King Xuan of Qi (齊宣王 [qi xuan wang]) recruited monks and laypeople (募僧俗 [mu seng su]) to practice the method of pure dwelling (淨住之法 [jing zhu zhi fa]), and this was named the Pure Dwelling Society. 淨住舍 [jing zhu she]—Jingzhushe — [Miscellaneous Name (雜名 [za ming])] A Buddhist temple (佛寺 [fu si]) is also known as Jingzhushe. See Fayuan Zhulin (法苑珠林 [fa yuan zhu lin]). It refers to a place of pure (清淨 [qing jing]) and peaceful dwelling (安住 [an zhu]).
