羯朱嗢祇羅 [jie zhu wa qi luo]—Kajughil — [Place Name (地名 [de ming])] Country Name (國名 [guo ming]). Located in Central India. The land is low and humid, grain (稼稷 [jia ji]) is abundant, and learning and arts (學藝 [xue yi]) are highly respected. In the past, when King Harsha (戒日王 [jie ri wang]) traveled to Eastern India, he built a palace (築宮 [zhu gong]) here to manage state affairs (理國務 [li guo wu]). When he arrived, he would thatch a hut (葺茅為宇 [qi mao wei yu]); when he left, he would burn it down. There are six or seven monasteries (伽藍 [jia lan]) and over three hundred monks (僧徒 [seng tu]).
