jibhalī (जिभली).—f (Dim. of jībha) A term in endearment or disparagement for the tongue. 2 C The tongue (of serpents, lizards, parrots &c.), a forked tongue. Hence 3 A common term for the two prominent veins underneath the tongue. 4 A tree. It grows gen. out of the sides of wells.
