jhaḍapaṇēṃ (झडपणें).—n Any winnowing or fanning instrument; a flapper or fan.

jhaḍapaṇēṃ (झडपणें).—v c To fan, flap, winnow (grain, fire &c.) 2 fig. To blast, affect, visit--a god or a bhūta (fiend). Ex. viṭhṭhalēṃ jaipāsūna jhaḍapilēṃ || saṃsāra nāvaḍē mana viṭalēṃ ||. Also paṇḍharīcēṃ bhūta mōṭhēṃ || bhāvārthī yā jhaḍapī nēṭēṃ ||.
