Ex. jari jivhā jāya jhaḍōnī || kiḍē paḍōta tātkāḷa ||. 3 To fade; to lose brightness, clearness, freshness--colors, pictures, writing. 4 To be in animated or smart action--the caughaḍā or royal band, the jhāñja or cymbals, a fight or dispute: to be firing--guns, musketry. 5 To be under regular issue or free and brisk course of payment or receipt--wages of troops, monies. 6 To decline, break, give way--a building, a tiling, any fixed arrangement.
