jasātasā (जसातसा) [or जसतसा, jasatasā].—(jasā & tasā. Sometimes used adjectively, but generally as an adverb qualifying verbs; inflected, however, according to the gender and number of the object.) jasēntasēṅkarūna & jaisēntaisēmparī Somehow; in some way or other; by some means or other; by hook or crook;--implying either negligence and cursoriness of performance, or indeterminateness and laxity of action in general. Ex. hā māṇūsa mājhyā kāmācā nāhīṃ jasītasī cākarī karatō; hyā māmalatadārānēṃ jasētasē dōna lakṣa rupayē mēḷavilē; abuddha vāṅkuḍēṃ jaisēntaisēṃ parī || vācēnēṃ tō hari uccāraṇēṃ ||. 2 Somehow or other;--implying hardly, with difficulty, through vehement exertion or effort. Ex. cōra pāṭhīsa lāgalē hōtē mī ja0 gāṃvāsa pōñcalōṃ.
