jaraba (जरब).—f ( A) Terribleness, dreadfulness, awfulness: also imperativeness, authoritativeness, commanding influence. 2 Intimidating, overawing. v dē, dākhava. Ex. tyālā ja0 dētāñca tō garrakana lavalā. 3 Terror, dread, awe. v khā, dhara, ghē, pāva. Ex. pantōjīcī hāka aikatāñca pōrāṃlā ja0 basalī; hā dāṇḍagā kōṇhācī ja0 khāṇāra nāhīṃ. ja0 khāṇēṃ To take fright. ja0 piṇēṃ To lose or get over the awe of.
