(-saḥ) A drain or channel, made on purpose for carrying off an excess of water, or such a channel made naturally by the overflow of a river, &c. E. jala water, ut up, and śvāsa breath, breathing forth or expiration. jalāni ucchasanti ebhiḥ ut + śvasa-ghañ .
