Jaghanyaja (जघन्यज).—

1) a younger brother; जघन्यजस्तक्षकश्र श्रुतसेनेति यः सुतः (jaghanyajastakṣakaśra śrutaseneti yaḥ sutaḥ) Mahābhārata (Bombay) 1.3.141; श्रुत्वा वचो वालिजघन्यजस्य (śrutvā vaco vālijaghanyajasya) Rām.4.24.24.

2) a Śūdra. विप्राश्च बाहुजास्तद्वद्दूरव्याश्च जघन्यजाः (viprāśca bāhujāstadvaddūravyāśca jaghanyajāḥ) Śiva. B.31.17.
