Source: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarItac (इतच्).—tad., affix इत (ita) in the sense of 'found or produced in', which is afixed to words तारका,पुष्प, मुकुल (tārakā, puṣpa, mukula) and others; e.g. तारकित, मुकुलित, सुखित, दुःखित (tārakita, mukulita, sukhita, duḥkhita) etc.; cf. तदस्य संजातं तारकादिभ्य इतच् (tadasya saṃjātaṃ tārakādibhya itac) P.V.2.36.
Vyakarana (व्याकरण, vyākaraṇa) refers to Sanskrit grammar and represents one of the six additional sciences (vedanga) to be studied along with the Vedas. Vyakarana concerns itself with the rules of Sanskrit grammar and linguistic analysis in order to establish the correct context of words and sentences.
