Iliṅkam (இலிங்கம்) noun < liṅga.

1. Sign mark, symbol, token, emblem; அடையாளம். (பிங்கலகண்டு) [adaiyalam. (pingalagandu)]

2. Glans penis; ஆண்குறி. (திவா.) [ankuri. (thiva.)]

3. (Logic.) The invariable mark that proves the existence of anything in an object; ஏது. [ethu.]

4. (Grammar) Gender of Sanskrit nouns, in three forms, viz., புல்லிங்கம், ஸ்திரீலிங்கம், நபுஞ்சகலிங்கம்; வடமொழிப் பெயர்ச்சொற்கு உரிய பால். [pullingam, sthirilingam, napunchagalingam; vadamozhip peyarchorku uriya pal.]
