hundaḍā (हुंदडा).—m The bumping or bunting with its head against the mother's udder (of a calf &c. whilst sucking). 2 A blow or push with the head or side of the shoulder. 3 A particular disorder which rages amongst man and beast: also the demon or fiend to whose influence it is ascribed. Hence 4 A term for an impetuous, dreadnought, headlong fellow; one that tears along stopping at nothing. 5 A term for the remaining songṭi at the plays with songṭya.
