Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramHsmvūaiṃ (ह्स्म्वूऐं) is a variant of Hsauṃ, which refers to a seed-syllable (bīja) associated with Sadāśiva, according to Tantric texts such as the Kubjikāmata-tantra, the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—HSAUṂ is the seed-syllable of Sadāśiva and corresponds to the element Space. This seed-syllable has several variants. [...] Other variants are HSMVŪAIṂ, HSMVAṂ and HSRŪAUṂ. The latter, called the Bhairavī or Bhairava Vidyā, is the form we find in two places in the Kumārikākhaṇḍa.
