Hitaprepsu (हितप्रेप्सु).—a. = हितकाम (hitakāma); यो बन्धनवधक्लेशान् प्राणिनां न चिकीर्षति । स सर्वस्य हितप्रेप्सुः सुखमत्यन्तमश्नुते (yo bandhanavadhakleśān prāṇināṃ na cikīrṣati | sa sarvasya hitaprepsuḥ sukhamatyantamaśnute) || Manusmṛti 5.46.
