hicamicaṇēṃ (हिचमिचणें).—v i (Imit. hica! mica! Sounds fancied to accompany an effort to stir under great confinement or repression.) To stir about; to move a little; to stretch one's limbs; to shake and relieve one's self: also to stir, to budge, to move in the slightest degree. There is ever implication that the stirring either is impracticable or must be accomplished against opposition or under sense of restraint. Ex. hyā dāṭīnta kasēṃ basāvēṃ amaḷa hicamicēna hmaṭalēṃ tara jāgā nāhīṃ or hicamicāyālā sāmpaḍata nāhīṃ; pantōjīnēṃ dōna prahara paryanta pōrāṃlā hicamicū dilhēṃ nāhīṃ.
