Pr. divasa gēlā hēṭīmēṭī (i. e. hēṭīmēṭīnēṃ, or the noun used adverbially) cāndaṇyākhālīṃ (or divā lāvūna) kāpūsa vaṭī. Note. For hēṭīmēṭī in this proverb some read hātīṃ mēṭīṃ, and others, rēṇṭārēṇṭīṃ. 2 Used as ad Slightingly, carelessly, negligently, indifferently. hēṭīmēṭīkhālīṃ or -vārīṃ nēṇēṃ -ghālaviṇēṃ &c. To cast away in lightness and carelessness.
