hayagaya (हयगय).—f Negligence, carelessness, unconcernedness; indifference or coolness of regard, or the slackness of action its consequent: also dilatoriness, procrastination, delaying, dallying, dawdling or postponing quality. Ex. satkarmāṃ- viṣayīṃ ha0 karūṃ nayē āyuṣya thōḍēṃ āhē; parōpakāra paramārthasādhana ityādi puṇyakarmāṃviṣayīṃ ha0 kēlyāsa pāpa vāḍhatēṃ; lihiṇyāviṣayīṃ ha0 karūṃ nakō lavakara aṭapa; pāṇyācē hayagayīmuḷēṃ jhāḍa vāḷalēṃ; ghōḍyācē pōṭācī ha0 kēlyāsa ghōḍā vāḷēla.
