Source: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection I (history)Harirasa (हरिरस) or Hararasa is the name of a work by Bārahaṭ Īsardās (classified as Rajasthani literature).—The Hararasa (in Rajasthani) is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi’ library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The work, called here Hararasa, is generally known rather as Harirasa. It is a Rajasthani classic of devotitonal literature written by one of the most famous saints of the region. Bārahaṭ Īsardās (1539-1618 ce) was born at the village Bhadresa near Badmer in the Malani region of Rajasthan. [...] The Harirasa accounts for his fame as a Bhakta poet. There he sings the celebration of god’s name, describes the avatāras, especially Rāma and Viṣṇu, and praises knowledge of the soul. This work is celebrated as authoritative by the Vaishnavas, especially in Rajasthan and gujarat, where the author spent a large part of his life (in Jamnagar). nevertheless Īsardās aims at going beyond any sectarian view or difference, teaching religious tolerance and harmony. According to him, formless (nirgun) pervades the universe. He regards devotion as a means to liberate himself from the cycle of rebirths and from the bond of karma.
The history of India traces the identification of countries, villages, towns and other regions of India, as well as mythology, zoology, royal dynasties, rulers, tribes, local festivities and traditions and regional languages. Ancient India enjoyed religious freedom and encourages the path of Dharma, a concept common to Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.
