Source: Shodhganga: New look on the kushan bengaliHarinarayanpur in South 24 Paragana district is an explored site revealing Kushan presence.—Harinarayanpur is situated under the jurisdiction of Kulpi Police station in South 24 Parganas of lower Bengal region. The site has yielded pottery, beads, plaques depicting mithuna style, terracotta figurines of Sunga-Kushan style. Sri P. C. Dasgupta of Department of Archaeology, Government of West Bengal has collected this early historic material from Harinarayanpur in the year 1961-62.
