Schemes, expedients, and contrivances endlessly diversified; countless and ever-varying plots, projects, shifts, devices, speculations, enterprises, adventures, efforts (as in pursuit of the means of subsistence; as in accomplishment of an object). Used plurally. Ex. udaranirvāhārtha ha0 karāvē lāgatāta; ha0 karūna tyānēṃ lagna kēlēṃ. 2 Inventiveness, ingeniousness, fertility in resources, shifts, and expedients. In this sense the word is singular. Ex. jyācē aṅgīṃ ha0 nāhīṃ asalā ēkamārgī kāya upayōgī?
