haṇagōbā (हणगोबा).—m A familiar appellation of the monkey-god Hanuman. Hence, appellatively, any obtrusive professor or pretender. ha0 karaṇēṃ acc. of o. To excite and push forward a person to do what his own stupidity or timorousness would never have suggested or permitted. Also mārūna kuṭūna ha0 karaṇēṃ To constrain by harsh or forcible measures. ha0 karaṇēṃ To make a cowdung-image of an absent person (in order to ascertain whether he will come or not).
