hālabōndarā (हालबोंदरा).—or -bōndrā a (hālaṇēṃ & bōndara or bōndarī Clout &c.) Ragged and slovenly. Hence 2 Idiotic, crazy, silly-looking: also impotent, imbecile, inefficient or incompetent generally. hālavēndrā is a form of this word, or from halakā & indriya, signifying Impotent, incapable, feebleminded &c.
