Source: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Hakaragoḍa is the name of a locality that existed in the ancient kingdom of Anurādhapura, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—The Taraccha tank was built in Devānaṃpiya Tissa’s reign (B.C. 247-207) was in or close to Anurādhapura: also close to the City were:—(i) Hakaragoḍa; (ii) Ilubarata; and (iii) Gāma.
