hajimbā (हजिंबा).—m ( A Rout or wild flight.) A tumultuous jostling or thronging: also a throng or pressing crowd. 2 Extravagance, exorbitance, outrageousness, excess in general as of revelry or jollity, of fighting or quarreling; or of other lively action; also of rain, crops, supplies &c. v māja, jama, hō. A vulgar word, although rather local, and of a large class. 3 Employed, as are so many vaguely-apprehended foreign words, in the sense of the numerous synonymes of phajitī--Disgrace, ridiculed or jeered state. v hō, uḍa &c. g. of s.
