Haiyaṃgava (हैयंगव).—[tvo godohāt bhavaṃ hyas go kha ni°]

1) Clarified butter prepared from the preceding day's milk, fresh ghee; हैयंगवीनमादाय घोषवृद्धानुपस्थितान् (haiyaṃgavīnamādāya ghoṣavṛddhānupasthitān) R.1. 45; Bhaṭṭikāvya 5.12.

2) Butter prepared a day before it is used, fresh butter; भित्वा मृषाश्रुर्दृषदश्मना रहो जघास हैयंगव- मन्तरं गतः (bhitvā mṛṣāśrurdṛṣadaśmanā raho jaghāsa haiyaṃgava- mantaraṃ gataḥ) Bhāgavata 1.9.6.
