過去 [guo qu]—(guò qù) — [Term] The state where the activities of conditioned phenomena (有為之事物 [you wei zhi shi wu]) ultimately cease. It is one of the Three Times (三世 [san shi]).
過去—【術語】有為之事物作用終滅之位也。三世之一。
[shù yǔ] yǒu wèi zhī shì wù zuò yòng zhōng miè zhī wèi yě. sān shì zhī yī.
[shu yu] you wei zhi shi wu zuo yong zhong mie zhi wei ye. san shi zhi yi.

過去 [guò qù] [guo qu]—
1. To pass by. For example: "He just passed by the doorway (門口 [men kou])."
2. Already passed. For example: "Your check (支票 [zhi piao]) expiration date (期限 [qi xian]) has already passed (已過 [yi guo])."
3. To go to, to proceed to. From A Dream of Red Mansions (《紅樓夢 [hong lou meng]》) Chapter 49: "When Baoqin (寶琴 [bao qin]) heard this, she went over and ate a piece. She indeed found it delicious, so she began to eat more."
4. To die. For example: "The person has already passed away, why bother criticizing him anymore!"
5. To turn over, with the back facing someone/something. From A Brief History of Civilization (《文明小史 [wen ming xiao shi]》) Chapter 26: "The chair was not sturdy, its leg broke, and it almost fell over backwards (仰翻 [yang fan])."
過去:1.經過。如:「他剛從門口過去。」
2.已過。如:「你的支票期限已經過去了。」
3.前往、前去。《紅樓夢》第四九回:「寶琴聽了,便過去吃了一塊,果覺好吃,便也吃起來。」
4.死去。如:「人都過去了,何必還批評他呢!」
5.反面、背面對著人。《文明小史》第二六回:「椅子不結實,腿兒折了,幾乎仰翻過去。」
guò qù:1. jīng guò. rú: “tā gāng cóng mén kǒu guò qù.”
2. yǐ guò. rú: “nǐ de zhī piào qī xiàn yǐ jīng guò qù le.”
