guñjāvīsa (गुंजावीस).—f ē ( P) Defect, incompleteness, imperfection, lack. Ex. hē lākūḍa sārakhēṃ tāsilēṃ guṃ0 rāhilī nāhīṃ. 2 Error or inaccuracy. Ex. hyā hiśēbānta guṃ0 kāṃhīṃ ēka nāhīṃ. 3 A failing or tripping; a slip or omission (in duty or service). 4 Profit, gain, emolument (as in business): also, with covert implication, illicit profit; peculation or pickings. Note. Under this double usus (defect or lack, and profit or gain) the word classes with, and is often viewed as interchangeable with, kasara q. v. Sig. I.
