guḷaguḷathāpaḍī (गुळगुळथापडी).—f (Patting softly and fondly a child to send it to sleep.) Tender, softened, restrained, delicate (language or deportment); mincing the matter; mealy-mouthed insinuation. Ex. asalyā ṭhikāṇīṃ gu0 kāya karatōsa tō cōra ṭharalā tyā- lā cōra hmaṇa. 2 Appeasing, persuading, conciliating (speech or conduct). Ex. myāṃ kōṇhālā kāṃhīṃ sāṅgūna kōṇhālā kāṃhīṃ dēūna aśī sarvāñcī gu0 karūna anukūla kēlē.
