管軍 [guǎn jūn] [guan jun]—
An official who manages military affairs (軍事 [jun shi]). From Song (宋 [song]) Dynasty. Fan Zhongyan's (范仲淹 [fan zhong yan]) "Memorial on the Appointment of Xu Huaide (奏議許懷德差遣 [zou yi xu huai de cha qian])": "Individuals like Wang Xin (王信 [wang xin]) and Di Qing (狄青 [di qing]) truly possess martial bravery (武勇 [wu yong]) and are capable of serving as military officials. However, even if they have not yet achieved great merit (大功 [da gong]), their promotions (遷轉 [qian zhuan]) are too rapid (太速 [tai su])."

管軍:管理軍事的官吏。宋.范仲淹〈奏議許懷德差遣〉:「如王信狄青,實有武勇,堪任管軍,亦死未有大功,遷轉太速。」
