Gurrepalle (or Goravanahalli, a hamlet of Moda) is an archaeologically important site situated in Hindupur-taluk (Anantapur district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Gurrepalle there is a Kannaḍa inscription on a slab set up near the north prākāra a inside the gopura at the Mahālakṣmī temple. It mentions Rāmarāja-Viṭṭhala. The inscription is engraved on very rough surface and the letters are indistinct. It is dated Śaka 1411.
