Goparvata (गोपर्वत).—the name of the place where Pāṇini is said to have performed penance and propitiated Śiva; गोपर्वतमिति स्थानं शम्भोः प्रख्यापितं मया । यत्र पाणिनिना लेभे वैयाकरणिकाग्र्यता ॥ अरुणाचलमाहात्म्यम्- उत्तरार्धः (goparvatamiti sthānaṃ śambhoḥ prakhyāpitaṃ mayā | yatra pāṇininā lebhe vaiyākaraṇikāgryatā || aruṇācalamāhātmyam- uttarārdhaḥ) 2 अ (a). 68 श्लो (ślo).
