公私 [gōng sī] [gong si]—
Public and private (公家和私人 [gong jia he si ren]). For example: "That person drove a company car (公司車 [gong si che]) to take his family on an outing, mixing public and private affairs (不分 [bu fen]), and was fired!" From Chapter 120 of Romance of the Three Kingdoms (《三國演義 [san guo yan yi]》): "At that time, Sun Hao (皓 [hao]) resided in Wuchang (武昌 [wu chang]). The people (百姓 [bai xing]) of Yangzhou (揚州 [yang zhou]) supplied him by transporting goods upstream (泝流供給 [su liu gong gei]), which caused them great hardship (甚苦之 [shen ku zhi]). Moreover, he was excessively extravagant (奢侈無度 [she chi wu du]), leading to depletion in both public and private (匱乏 [gui fa]) resources."
